I am an experienced Artist and Designer with a demonstrated history of solving problems and finding solutions in Higher Ed and private industry. I currently handle UX/UI creative, digital and technical problems at Central New Mexico Community College. Skilled in Drawing, Painting, and post-studio practices, I combine strong creative skills the ability to solve technical UX problems using the tools of the trade. Sketch, XD, Miro, Zeplin, Adobe suite, HTML, and CSS and comfort in a variety of CMS platforms like WordPress, Plone, and more. I have excellent graphic design instincts, and am a media and communications professional with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from The University of New Mexico.

Brand Strategy
There are lots of valid ways a product can look and feel. Choosing the most appropriate one often depends on deep reserves of knowledge of history of art and design. I have a backgound in and passion for, visual culture of all kinds but especially Art & Design.
I hold a BFA from the University of Michigan and and MFA from the University of New Mexico and leverage this experience in all of my work.
Graphic Design
I have 20 years experience working with a wide variety of clients in the non-profit, medical and higher education sectors. I have created brand kits including designing logos, making typeface decisions, color selection, letterhead and stationary and of course, entire website style sheets and style guides.
Project Management
I have been a functional lead on many projects large and small. I am a prompt communicator when issues arise and can accurately estimate timelines and monitor schedules of deliverables.
UX Fundamentals
• I am deft at defining goals of project through testing assumptions via market research and analytics.
• Help map content and user tasks and develop testable user flows.
UI Prototyping
• Bring projects to the next phase with testable wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes ready for developer hand-off.

• Despite best laid plans, there are always bumps in the road. When last minute changes are necessary, I find solutions that are elegant and sustainable.
